Today is World AIDS Day

For those who are dealing with it
for those who have been touched by it
for those who live in fear
and for those who have fallen.

we have too much to do
and so far to go
before we can conquer this.

We must conquer this.

I wish much strength to those who face this.

I lost a friend to this years ago (blood transfusion).
A monster of a virus. I never recognised him when I saw him in his casket, the illness ate him up completely. :(

we've come a long way. Some who get it can live now.
