thoughts on the Storyteller series
Aug. 21st, 2005 10:05 pmI have Jim Henson's "The Storyteller series" which really rocks and gives me much inspiration. I need to watch them again :)
I have just watched "The Greek Storyteller series" from the same people. INCREDIBLE.
These things follow the old myths WELL. They're very tragic. And VERY well told and shown.
In many ways, technically, the greek myths are better. If you want happy though, watch the other ones.
I'm a huge Jim Henson fan, and this was his last work as far as I know.
now I wait for Mirrormask. (Neil Gaiman, Dave McKean and Jim Henson studios... wow). I'm also a Neil Gaiman fan and haven't found anything he's written that's anywhere below top notch quality.
