Polygamist leader Jeffs found guilty (tags: poly, justice) - it has begun.
"Everyone should now know that no one is above the law, religion is not an excuse for abuse and every victim has a right to be heard," said Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff
-> this is a step toward dealing with certain issues that must be tackled before any Canadian ruling on poly-lifestyles can be made.
(while it's a US case - the guilty party had been hiding out in Canada a while and there are similar cases on the move here)
