This is a beautiful rant about education - and suggestions on how to fix common problems. I suspect quite a bit of it is accurate.
I'm posting it here because I think I'll want to refer back to it from time to time. (edit: a couple of spelling errors that my browser got upset about. Other than that it's verbatim).
