Jun. 12th, 2007 11:23 amI've been busy coding.
That's a good thing.
It's been a long time since I let my creative side loose this much.
Have to see what results but so far so good. Let myself get rusty with sadness though.
now for some random tidbits as I'm too busy at work to really do more:
from
patgund source of much mischief:
Archaeologists discover Iron Age Mickey Mouse (warning - many ads)
"Swedish archaeologists have uncovered signs of a Viking precursor to Mickey Mouse. Among the objects found during excavations at UppÄkra in southern Sweden is an iron age figure bearing a strong resemblance to the classic cartoon character.
But archaeologist Jerry Rosenberg from Lund University is confident that the bronze brooch - used as a clasp to fasten women's clothing - was in fact intended to represent a Lion King rather than a mere mouse.
"The find is from around 900 AD. It was probably a lion's head that originally came from France. It was however more than likely designed by somebody who had never actually seen a lion."
also Patient bleeds dark green blood (BBC News)
"A team of Canadian surgeons got a shock when the patient they were operating on began shedding dark greenish-black blood, the Lancet reports.
The man emulated Star Trek's Mr Spock - the Enterprise's science officer who supposedly had green Vulcan blood.
In this case, the unusual colour of the 42-year-old's blood was down to the migraine medication he was taking.
The man's leg surgery went ahead successfully and his blood returned to normal once he eased off the drug."

Rather good idea too. *hmmm*
I think I could use a couple of the techniques they do...
