CBC: Brain damage removes emotion from moral decisions: study

Part of the summary of the story was interesting:
The findings suggest humans are neurologically unfit for strict utilitarian thinking, the authors say, suggesting neuroscience may be able to test different philosophies for their compatibility with human nature.


Now I've just realized that my temper's just a little too sensitive right now and I've got some important things to think about - so I'll be (mostly) taking a break from online activity for the week end. Besides, there's lots to do :)
