on way home, 4am by kensington entrance onto broadway
stopped and checked the guy out - he was talking (I think) with his girlfriend. And wondering what to do...
(he'd fallen asleep at the wheel)

Poor guy. last I saw he was on the horn with 911. The neighbours next door to the truck he'd hit had just called the police and came out to check - so I let them know the guy was walking around and trying to contact police himself (I'd suggested 911 actually - I don't know if that was correct or not but it sounded like the right choice).
He was walking - so any possible injury was minor. His car was most likely totalled - but no sign of mess so probably no danger. Truck damaged but possibly OK. No passengers..
Neighbours were checking if any injured as well.

I came probably about 2 minutes after the accident actually - as the guy was pacing down the sidewalk back to the car as I stopped on the side. Anyways he asked me for suggestions on who to call and described what had happened. He was looking very stressed but speaking clearly and walking straightly. Exhausted but nothing else - sounded very honest.

I'm writing this down both to remember + in case anyone asks I could provide sort of a witness.
