(serious) new year's resolution thoughts...

Well if I were to have any resolutions they'd be:
- To return to school. I miss Uni and I wanna study more! Not that I need an excuse to study....
- To be more organized. I've found too many papers that needed dealing with between months and years ago
- To have lest unresolved stuff following me around. Papers, peoples, things, whatever. Mostly papers... I've got this giant stack of paperwork that needs catching up with. After that it's getting rid of the stuff I don't need anymore. Like my floppy disks... all umm 1000s of them. Then maybe data CDs.... too many of those too.
- To try to have more fun where things aren't that likely to FUBAR on me. Organization might help... but mostly this just is wishing.

And finally - to play more and worry less.

I mean I have silly resolutions too, but wanna get the serious stuff out of the way.

Silly resolutions....

Learning to Tango sounds good.
Making a grove in the living room. Or something like that...
Return Kenneth's roofrack. I'm sure his van must be cold.
Go sailing. This WILL involve repainting the sailboat first but I just wanna sail!!!!!
Learn some naughty songs... and have opportunities to sing/play them.
Relearn massage.... I rusty as all anything.
Make at least -one- cream pie!!!! MOCHA CREAM!!!!!! Or lemon cream. Or just about any cream *g* Well not that...
Travel to at least one foreign country. Greece sounds good but my luck says I'll be visiting Seattle again *g*
Learn some fiddle tunes that would annoy snooty violinists.
Learn some proper violin tunes so I can pretend to be snooty too.
Dance more
Learn some tunes backwards and sideways just because. Sideways is tricky on a flute but I betcha a violin could do it. Or maybe on synthesizer, after all I've got two of the beasties.
reminds me... I should probably fix both of them *G*. They WERE working when I started moving but they don't seem to be now....
Learn to draw naughty pictures. Just because.
Learn to write naughty stories. Same reason.
Do more tightrope walking
Learn to juggle something that isn't sharp.... *g* Didja know juggling knives is NOTHING like juggling balls? or jobs.. *g*

At least it'll be fun trying to go through this list in a coupla months...

quick aside - on SR- I currently hold an office (Herald), I've run events

I've been messing about with blogthings (more below) but

You Know You're From Vancouver when
the British, Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean food-related (and some other) entries all make sense... at the same time.... or at least most of them do. And pretty much the entire British one....
Actually umm I'm recognizing most of the nationalities foodstuff. Silly. And the Norwegian is DEFINITELY close to Dutch. (they don't have dutch). LOL

My guess for me on the next one is none, but their test felt different...
